Putting the modern in mid-century, this 1965 bungalow was completely reinvented.
Backing onto the Edmonton River Valley, this bungalow needed an update and a new floor plan. Reworking the floor plan to make the best use of space, we were able to create a master ensuite, and still keep three bedrooms upstairs, plus a bathroom and linen closet. The kitchen was relocated to the front of the home and finished with black cabinets, white quartz, white subway tile and brass hardware and lighting. A new front porch, with wire railing was installed, and, as you enter the home the black hexagon tile now spills into the vinyl plank flooring.
We also filled the pool! A shame I know, but a reality when you live in Edmonton. A new layer of sod and a new fence made the yard look fantastic.
The basement floorplan was redesigned and updated as well, with plush carpet, new fixtures, trim, baseboards, lights and paint in the two bedrooms, bathroom, and large family room.
